The new summer inflight menu of Vueling, the low-cost carrier that’s part of the IAG group, features the airline’s first-ever signature cocktail, Vueling in the Clouds.
Inspired by Vueling’s European destinations, the cocktail blends cava and ratafia (a sweet dessert wine) from Barcelona, gin from the UK, Italian limoncello and elderflower liqueur from France. It is served with a cloud of candyfloss for a memorable twist.
Vueling in the Clouds is designed to be the ideal start to passengers’ summer holidays. In addition to its signature cocktail, Vueling’s updated drinks list includes classics such as Piña Colada, Mojito and Patrón tequila.
Alcohol-free additions include kombucha, ColaCao Energy, Aquarius lemon water and Schweppes grapefruit. There’s also an expanded selection of Twinings herbal teas and infusions.
The revamped menu aboard Vueling flights includes 28 new additions among more than 70 items. It offers an expanded range of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options and more variety for passengers with allergies. There are clearly labelled snacks and meals for gluten-sensitive travellers.
The new additions include the Berry Blend bar from Creative Nature – a 100% vegan snack free from all 14 major allergens. It’s been introduced with travellers who have multiple dietary restrictions.
The vegan options encompass a Heüra plant-based burger and an Oatly mochaccino.
Savoury options include a tapas box with cured meats, olives, soft cheese and breadsticks.
The menu’s selection of sweets includes Maltesers, Twix, Lotus Biscoff biscuits and pineapple chunks in syrup.
