Royal Brunei Airlines has selected Intelsat to provide its multi-orbit connectivity service on the airline’s Airbus A320neo fleet.
Royal Brunei provides scheduled services across Asia, the Middle East, Australia and to the United Kingdom.
Intelsat operates the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial network and will start installing its multi-orbit system on the airline’s A320s in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The installation will include the new electronically steered array antenna (ESA), which is less than seven centimetres tall and connects Intelsat’s geostationary (GEO) satellites and low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites.
