Riyadh Air chooses John Horsfall for bedding collection

Details of Riyadh Air’s inflight bedding have been revealed, featuring John Horsfall’s Re-Thread recycled fillings.

Working closely with Riyadh Air, John Horsfall has created a bespoke bedding collection that reflects the airline’s cabin interiors ahead of its full 2026 launch.

“Designing for a brand-new airline is a rare opportunity, as you’re shaping the passenger experience from the very beginning rather than adapting to something already established. With Riyadh Air, we had the advantage of starting with a blank canvas,” said John Horsfall’s Sales Account Executive, Sarah Stedman.

“Every choice from texture and colour to performance and sustainability played a role in defining the onboard atmosphere ahead of its 2026 launch. It meant the bedding collection wasn’t simply an accessory to the cabin, but a considered part of the overall design story – contributing to a seamless and elevated journey.”

Each detail, from fabric choice to presentation, has been designed to enhance rest and wellbeing at 35,000 feet, delivering a sense of premium comfort throughout the journey.

Passengers will find dual-sided pillows with cooling and warming options, plush duvets, and soft, fine throws. The pillows and duvets feature John Horsfall’s Re-Thread recycled fillings, bringing sustainability into the cabin.

“The Riyadh Air bedding collection was designed to reflect the airline’s brand identity, using its signature colours to create a calm, cohesive palette,” added Stedman.

“The bespoke quilted pattern directly incorporates the canopy twist motif, adding subtle texture and visual interest while remaining understated. The fabrics were chosen for their practicality and durability, designed to wash well and perform consistently while still providing a comfortable, inviting feel.

“Every detail was considered to support a seamless and elevated passenger experience.”

The collection adapts to the needs of each cabin from Business Elite to Economy, maintaining a cohesive look and feel throughout the aircraft.
