This year’s InnoTrans will take place from September 24 to 27 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
No less than 42 halls will be occupied, with an outdoor display and bus display hosting 2,900 exhibitors from 59 countries.
A rail track and outdoor display will feature over 110 passenger and goods vehicles lined up on 3,500 metres of rail track. Exhibits will include high-speed trains, regional trains, trams, hybrid locomotives and rail maintenance vehicles.
Siemens Mobility, Hitachi Rail, CRRC and Vossloh Rolling Stock are among the exhibitors taking part this year.
There will be 220 world innovations in segments such as Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction.
Products and services include battery-electric and fuel cell-powered locomotives, barrier-free access to mainline trains, MCX-enabled vehicle-to-ground communications, AI-based algorithms for creating timetables and graffiti-resistant film for windows.
Visitors can also take part in World Innovation Tours, which are 90-minute tours stopping at exhibitor stands. Free of charge, they are held several times a day in German and English. To register, email innotrans@spree-pr.com.
