Rail Gourmet UK Limited has been granted a new Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III for catering the British Royal Train.
The Royal Warrant, which is for three years, permits the caterer to use the Royal Arms in connection with its business as an appointed supplier to the Royal Household.
Royal Warrants of Appointment are granted to businesses that are united by “a commitment to the highest standards of service, quality, excellence and sustainability”.
Andy Webb, Managing Director at Rail Gourmet, said: “It is a real privilege for our company to be granted this new Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty The King and personally to be made the Grantee.
“It is a mark of recognition of the quality and sustainable catering supply service we provide to the Royal Train that we can all be proud of.”
Roger Williams RVM has managed the Royal Train onboard services since 1987 and was Grantee to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
He added: “The onboard team looks forward to continuing to benefit from Rail Gourmet’s excellent product logistics service, which is the foundation for our catering onboard the Royal Train.”
