Qantas has launched a new inflight safety video featuring front line team members and Frequent Flyers.
The new video details key safety information from Australia and around the world. It has replaced the Qantas Centenary themed video that has been screening since 2020.
Pilots, cabin crew, customer service agents and Frequent Flyers share critical information from 14 “magic place” destinations, including Litchfield National Park in Australia, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico (pictured), Seoul in South Korea, Paris in France and Jaipur in India.
The safety video will be progressively rolled out onboard Qantas flights, with 75 versions in 12 languages. Travellers can also find it on the airline’s official YouTube channel.
Catriona Larritt, Chief Customer Officer at Qantas, said: “First and foremost, the video is about familiarising our passengers with safety procedures and we try to make it as engaging as possible, in particular for regular flyers who might otherwise tune out.”
“We are proud to feature our own well-travelled team members and passengers, to not only deliver the safety message but also promote travel and tourism by inspiring people to explore destinations they may not have experienced throughout Australia and beyond.”
