Popcorn Shed has introduced mini bags of its four most popular flavours of popcorn. The seven-gram (0.25-ounce) bags are designed for the needs of the catering industry, including the travel retail sector.
The new bags are shipped in a branded box containing 48 packets. The box holds 12 packs of each of Popcorn Shed’s best-selling flavours: Butterscotch, Pop ‘n’ Choc, Salted Caramel and Toasted Marshmallow. All four of the products are gluten-free.
The boxes in which the popcorn bags for the catering industry are shipped measure 30 cm by 20 cm by 15.5 cm. The net weight of the contents is 336 grams.
Positioned as an ‘artisanal gourmet popcorn brand’, Popcorn Shed was founded by the cousins Laura Jackson and Sam Feller in 2016.
“The bags are being introduced in order to service demand in the foodservice and travel sectors for low-priced and free issue snacks. They have been released in direct response to feedback from the wholesale sector that they were looking for small snackable products at a low price point to provide a little treat to their guests ‘on the go’ or as part of a snack box or as a sweet treat as part of an inflight meal,” commented Feller, the Commercial Director of Popcorn Shed.
The company’s production base is in the United Kingdom.
