Turkish Airlines has refreshed its collection of toy sets designed for young passengers on international flights lasting five hours or more. The ‘My Travel Buddy’ series has five sets of toys that are tailored to the length of the journey.
The toy sets offer children on Turkish Airlines flights an engaging and enjoyable experience while encouraging them to build their own toy collections.
The new toy sets feature the five little explorers of the Turkish Airlines Kids Club. They were curated to meet the developmental needs of specific age groups. Designed for long-haul flights, the new toy sets are designed for youngsters aged from two to six and from seven to 12.
A variety of educational and creative items are included in the toy sets.
The “tangram” puzzle encourages problem-solving, spatial reasoning and understanding of geometric shapes.
The “camping set” concept promotes environmental awareness from an early age.
Plush toys nurture emotional development, providing a sense of comfort and security, while pilot hats and model aeroplanes – which were also included in the previous collections and are indispensable parts of the series – fuel children’s curiosity and allow them to discover their interest in aviation.
Additionally, activity booklets and crayons support fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while activities that include Türkiye’s cultural assets aim to introduce young travellers to cultural heritage through fun and interactive content.
In line with Turkish Airlines’ commitment to sustainability, all toys in the new sets are made from eco-friendly and recycled materials, reinforcing environmental responsibility. The flag carrier aims to instil this awareness in young travellers, contributing to their growth as environmentally conscious individuals.
