ABC International has opened a new manufacturing facility in Lioni, Italy. The plant is in southern Italy’s Campania region.
This opening marks a key step in the company’s growth. From being a design partner in the aviation sector, ABC International is expanding its role to include manufacturing.
The new facility spans more than 300 square metres and complies with EASA PART-21G requirements. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.
The production of cabin monuments, including movable class dividers, partitions and fixed dividers plus stowage, coatroom, galleys, cabinets, lavatory and doghouses will be conducted in Lioni.
Upholstery products such as seat covers, cushions, carpets, curtains, antimacassars and decorative elements will also be made.
So too will placards and external markings, branding elements, cabin products such as seat track covers.
Small series and customised parts, to support short-term programmes by taking advantage of 3D printing technology, will also be made in the new factory.
