New cruise ship offers multiple hospitality spaces

Guests on MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, MSC World Asia, will have access to 40 bars, lounges and cafés. They are designed to offer options to suit varying moods, occasions and times of day.

The third ship in the cruise line’s World Class series, MSC World Asia, will sail from December 2026. The vessel will feature subtle design elements inspired by Asia’s culture, art and landscapes, including in its bars and lounges.

Inspired by nostalgia for the 1980s and 1990s, the Clubhouse and Soda Bar is designed for families and friends to come together, play and create memories.

At the Soda Bar, guests can put their own spin on the latest non-alcoholic drink trend by selecting a soda base and adding cream, flavoured syrups and toppings.

By day, guests can enjoy MSC Cruises-themed games, interactive digital tables and challenges, while younger guests and families can explore the LEGO area. The Court offers bumper cars and activities for all ages.

In the evening, the space evolves into a lively social hub with cocktails and mocktails available.

The Sky Box Bar within the Luna Park Arena will offer an intimate and sophisticated space to enjoy premium drinks and cocktails.

Drawing inspiration from early 20th-century Futurism, the cocktail menu will reimagine timeless favourites with a contemporary touch.

Guests can watch bartenders bring their creations to life through moments of mixology theatre. With premium spirits and attentive service, the Sky Box Bar will create an atmosphere of effortless elegance – an ideal spot for a pre-show aperitif before heading to the Luna Park Arena or a late-night drink.

With live music and a warm, soulful indoor atmosphere, Terraces Bar and Lounge provides sea views for Italian aperitivos. Guests can savour cocktails including the Negroni and Aperol Spritz, alongside spritzes and wines, complemented by traditional Italian bites such as focaccia and olives.

Wine enthusiasts can participate in expert-led tasting sessions that reflect destinations visited along the way by MSC World Asia.

At Coral Cove Pool, Coral Cove Bar is inspired by the beauty of a Philippine coral reef and offers a relaxed retreat where guests can enjoy classic drinks. The space will provide guests with a welcoming atmosphere to unwind and socialise throughout the day.

Pan Asian Bar overlooks the Promenade and is part of the new Pan Asian Street Food restaurant. It will offer Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails and beverages, including Jasmine Mojitos, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiris and Matcha Coladas.

Guests can also order beers from across Asia, as well as a crafted-at-sea draught beer with oriental notes, called Oceanic Asian.

Alongside the new concepts, MSC World Asia will bring back some of MSC Cruises’ most popular bars and lounges. Returning favourites include the Coffee Emporium, Fizz – Champagne Bar, All-Stars Sports Bar and Masters of the Sea, where beer is crafted at sea.

From December 4, MSC World Asia will operate seven-night Mediterranean cruises calling at destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.
