Mirus Aircraft Seating debuts Agility programme

Mirus Aircraft Seating has launched an Agility programme to offer shipset delivery in six to eight weeks.

The new programme has lead times of six to eight weeks from order to delivery, enabling leasing companies to retrofit quickly and efficiently. It aims to solve the problem of extended aircraft downtime in hangars and manage short aircraft transition schedules, with “no compromise on quality or service”.

Benefits include a select range of customisable options to aptly reflect the operating airline’s brand, including a choice of recline and fixed back seat types and a selection of pre-certified synthetic dress cover colours.

The Agility programme is available now for the aircraft seat manufacturer’s Hawk model, and from Q1 2024 for its Kestrel option. Both seats are suitable for Airbus 320 family and Boeing 737 aircraft.

Longer time requirements can also be catered for, with Mirus manufacturing holding stock ready for call-off when aircraft enter the hangar.

With the Mirus Care warranty, customers can expect to have their investment returned within five to six years of purchase, which is around half of the expected lifetime of the seat.

Ben McGuire, CEO of Mirus Aircraft Seating, said: “We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic business, and the Agility Programme is testament to our ability to be flexible in order to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

“The Agility programme is available on both our best-selling Hawk seat as well as our newer, ultra-lightweight Kestrel seat, both of which are market leading, lightweight seats that help to reduce aircraft fuel emissions while optimising cabin densification.

“With a low parts count, innovative seat architecture and an exceptional in-service reliability record, both seats provide the lowest cost of ownership as well as an exceptionally fast turnaround with Agility.”
