Milk partners with Elmer the Patchwork Elephant

Brand and design agency and inflight amenities producer Milk has partnered with the global favourite children’s character Elmer the Patchwork Elephant.

Created by David McKee in 1989, Elmer has now been part of children’s lives for 35 years. With over 10 million copies sold and published in over 50 languages, it is one of the most popular children’s books of all time.

Elmer represents inclusivity, education, fun and wisdom for children and families all over the world.

Milk has aimed to echo Elmer’s values and has drawn on its experience in the family engagement sector to create a range of children’s and toddlers backpacks.

Milk’s Elmer backpack range is manufactured using sustainable fabrics and techniques, which supports some of the key environmental messages found in the latest book published as well as Milk’s strong carbon neutral status.

Milk’s Managing Director, Zoë Telfer, said: “As a business this is a really exciting partnership for us and the Elmer brand. It gives the opportunity for more and more children worldwide to enjoy Elmer. Our core values are well aligned with the messages the Elmer books portray so we are delighted to go to launch with this exciting new range of backpacks.”
