Kaelis has announced a series of key appointments to its leadership team, including the addition of a new Chief Commercial Officer and two internal promotions to regional director roles.
Cato Rabines joins the company as Chief Commercial Officer bringing experience from senior roles across the aviation, logistics and packaging sectors, including previous leadership positions at both gategroup and LSG. In his new role, he will oversee’ global commercial strategy and growth initiatives.
Reporting to Rabines are two newly promoted regional directors.
Charlene Heitz has been appointed Regional Sales Director for APAC and Resident Officer of Kaelis China. Since joining the company in 2022, Heitz has focused on Kaelis’ expansion in Asia, managing government relations, corporate administration and compliance.
Inés Serra has been named Regional Director for EMA (Southern Europe & Africa) and Rail. Serra joined Kaelis in 2023 and will now lead commercial partnerships in the rail sector and the evolving African market.
Renival Oliveira, CEO of Kaelis, stated that the new structure is designed to combine external global experience with internal talent to support the company’s evolving international strategy and onboard service offerings.
