PORiJ instant porridge pots are now available onboard TransPennine Express trains in the United Kingdom.
Former pilot Daniel Simpson founded PORiJ. The plant-based porridge brand aims to meet rising demand for nutritious and convenient meal options, particularly breakfast and snacks on the go when travelling.
Each PORiJ pot is made from 100% UK-sourced natural ingredients and produced locally. With prebiotics and seeds for slow-release energy, PORiJ is high in fibre and enriched with plant-based protein.
Ready to eat in three minutes, PORiJ is prepared by adding hot water and stirring. It is ideal as a snack at any time of day. The product is vegan and free from palm oil.
PORiJ is available in three flavours: Cosy Maple Syrup, Apple and Cinnamon, and Scrumptious Vanilla.
Cosy Maple Syrup is the flavour already available on TransPennine Express trains, retailing at £2.50 a pot.
