Gateretail North America hosted a menu workshop with the JetBlue product team at New York-based Institute of Culinary Education in November.
Called the EatUp Café Menu, the workshop saw both teams explore domestic retail meal options with fresh food service Bimmy’s.
Gateretail North America and JetBlue reviewed over 20 menu items, before finalising each dish that will run across four of the airline’s seasonal menu cycles in 2025.
The workshop concluded with a Food Forces Innovation presentation from Executive Chef of Culinary Innovation Molly Brandt.
Regional Chief Commercial Officer Chris Kinsella said: “By combining our gateretail and culinary expertise with [JetBlue’s] vision, we ensure that every retail menu offering not only meets expectations but exceeds – allowing JetBlue to continue to elevate the onboard experience for their valued passengers.”
Svender Singh, General Manager of Onboard Experience at JetBlue, added: “JetBlue’s passengers value unique, high-quality and comforting dining options, making the EatUp Café Menu Workshop an integral step in evaluating seasonal dining options that meet their needs and preferences.”
