Flying Food Group has been chosen to remotely cater services by the newest U.S. carrier, Avelo, operating out of Hollywood Burbank Airport.
The new carrier is serving 11 destinations primarily in the western U.S., including within California and to Colorado, Oregon and Washington.
The customer experience team for the new airline is led by Victoria Stennes who has more than 40 years of commercial airline experience. She was JetBlue’s first V.P. of Inflight Experience, where she and her team consistently won the J.D. Power & Associates award for the highest customer satisfaction, and has also held multiple customer service operations roles at Delta and other companies.
In response to post-covid challenges, Avelo aircraft are regularly cleaned and disinfected. Tray tables, galleys, lavatories and all other touch surfaces are sanitized every evening with Calla 1452 (hospital-grade) disinfectant as well as regular treatments with an advanced antimicrobial protectant that kills viruses, germs and bacteria on all surfaces. This Zoono treatment forms a colourless, odourless protective shield and is safe to human contact.
All customers receive a convenience package containing a hand sanitizer, as well as a bottled water and small snack.
