Carnival Cruise Line has announced plans to introduce Family Feud Live to a dozen more of its ships by the autumn of 2024. The game show is a live adaptation of the popular television show Family Feud, which premiered in the US in 1976 and was adapted as Family Fortunes in the UK between 1980 and 2002.
Through an exclusive partnership with Fremantle, the production company behind Family Feud, Family Feud Live features the same format as the iconic TV show.
Two five-person teams compete for a chance to win prizes over three rounds of gameplay and then the Fast Money round by naming the most popular answers to questions asked in surveys that poll 100 people.
Carnival Cruise Line became the first cruise line to debut Family Feud Live at sea when Mardi Gras began sailings in 2021. It is also already proving popular on the Carnival Celebration.
From September 16, Carnival Vista will become the next ship to offer Family Feud Live, followed by Carnival Legend on its departure on September 30 and Carnival Pride on her November 19 sailing. Family Feud Live will then be rolled out aboard Carnival Miracle (December 14) and Carnival Jubilee (December 23).

Family Feud Live in 2024
In 2024, the game show will debut aboard Carnival Panorama during its March 2 sailing and Carnival Horizon on its March 30 cruise. Carnival Liberty will follow suit from May 26 and Carnival Luminosa will introduce the game show during its June 20 voyage. The final three ships to introduce Family Feud Live onboard will be Carnival Spirit (July 23), Carnival Magic (August 18) and Carnival Dream (October 5).
“Family Feud Live is such a fun and unique entertainment option because guests get into the action and participate in the same way they’ve watched the game played on TV,” said Chris Nelson, Vice President of Entertainment for Carnival Cruise Line. “Building on its popularity by bringing it to more ships will ensure that more of our guests get to experience the fun and friendly competition of Family Feud Live.”
