Etihad Airways rolls out limited-edition amenities

Etihad Airways has revealed a series of limited-edition amenities to celebrate Eid Al Etihad, the UAE’s 53rd National Day.

The amenity kits, which are complimentary for passengers on selected flights, are available from National Day (December 2) until the end of the month.

Etihad’s signature National Day Tote bags will also be given to all guests today. Designs feature imagery depicting Abu Dhabi’s heritage and details inspired by Sadu, the traditional Bedouin weaving craft.

Giorgio Armani kits in Business, First and The Residence are presented in colours inspired by the UAE. They contain skincare products from luxury spa and wellness brand ESPA, as well as travel accessories.

Those flying in Economy can also find two tote bags that reflect the UAE’s culture and history. They come with a plush blanket and headphones, as well as a Beekman lip balm. It transforms into a reusable foldaway bag, too.

The first design features a vintage 1962 photograph of a Bedouin family crossing the Asab Oasis in Liwa, Abu Dhabi.

The second design draws on inspiration from the Emirati Kandura, with a distinctive neckline and stitching reminiscent of the traditional Emirati menswear garment.

Etihad will also serve signature desserts on National Day.

Turky Al Hammadi, Director of Product and Hospitality, said: “We are proud to unveil this seasonal complementary gift for our passengers, giving a limited-edition flair to our much-loved amenity kits.

“Our passenger experience is inspired by the authentic hospitality of our Emirati identity and our home the UAE. As we celebrate the ‘Eid al Etihad’ holiday, we look forward to welcoming our passengers onboard with this special touch and warm welcome.”
