Emirates is introducing 18 new dishes to its Business class menus this summer and each dish is paired with an exclusive Champagne.
The 18 new starters and main courses will be launched inflight on select routes from May 2025 onwards.
It has taken more than a year to develop the menu, which is a collaboration between Moët & Chandon’s Head Chef or Michelin star renown, Jean Michel Bardet, and Emirates’ VP of Culinary Design, Doxis Bekris, who was appointed to his new role earlier this month (February).
The new paired dishes will include starters like poached scallops served with green melon, blanched kumquat, lemon gel and roasted almonds, paired with Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2016.
The menu also includes vegan dishes, such as silken tofu, sliced and served with poached asparagus, soy emulsion with olive oil, lemon gel and cashew cream, paired with Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial.
Main courses include roasted duck served with braised aubergine and chickpeas with raz el hanout-spiced couscous-jus and cherry tomatoes, paired with Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, or roasted turkey, sliced and served with sage chicken jus, mashed potato, braised fennel and almonds paired with Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2016.
Emirates has had a longstanding partnership with Moët Hennesey for 33 years, over which time Moët & Chandon Champagnes have become a signature part of the Emirates experience.
They are served on a complimentary basis onboard First and Business Class, can be purchased in Premium Economy and Economy Class and are also available in all Emirates Lounges.
The airline has exclusive rights to serve Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé 2009, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2004, moving to 2006 as of July, Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Blanc 2016, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc 2015.
Emirates also serves Australian sparkling wine, Chandon Vintage Brut 2018 moving to 2019 as of April onboard as a global exclusive to customers in Premium Economy.
