Mediterranean foods supplier Dina Foods has expanded its range of flatbreads to include Tannour flatbread, baked in an authentic stone oven.
The baking process is said to create a light and delicate texture to the flatbread and has been developed in response to growing demand for quick and healthy solutions.
It can be served filled, or spread with a sauce or topping like a pizza base, or served with dips. It can also be presented as a meal accompaniment alongside curries or tagines, for example.
Dina Foods Project Manager Wilda Haddad said: “The bread is a source of protein, low in sugar, suitable for vegetarians and has no added artificial colours or flavours. It is also rich in vitamin D.
The product joins Dina Foods’ wide range of artisanal flatbreads which include pitta breads, classic Mediterranean flatbreads and a range of Asian inspired breads.
