Delta has introduced an accessible flight map for passengers with low-vision disabilities.
The flight map will be rolled out across 165,000 seatback screens and 650 aircraft across Delta’s fleet.
Design features were created in partnership with inflight map provider FlightPath3D and the Advisory Boards on Disability.
Highlights include high-contrast visuals, a colour blind palette, large text and icons, streamlined information and zoom and pan controls. Voice narration will be available in upcoming iterations.
