CrossCountry Trains is expanding its drink menu with an alcohol-free cocktail from Mavrik Drinks.
The premium alcohol-free cocktail brand has signed a deal to supply the CrossCountry train network with its popular Cuban Mojito beverage.
Its new addition will cater to the increasing demand for alcohol-free options on the go. A survey by data supplier ISWR found that half of UK adults bought a no- or low-alcohol drink last year.
UK-based Mavrik produces a canned cocktail range in six flavours, comprising Cuban Mojitio; Aromatic G&T; Storm & Spice; Venetian Spritz; Passion Star Martini and Espresso Martini.
Andrew Mallinson, Director at Mavrik Drinks, said: “This is an exciting new development for Mavrik as it affords the opportunity to get our delectable drinks in the hands of train travellers across the country. There’s a real surge of interest in alcohol-free drinks, with many people seeking a virgin alternative to their favourite alcoholic beverage.”
“Our all-natural, low-calorie, ready-to-drink cans are an easy swap with zero compromise on taste, so they are perfect for those looking to unwind after a long day at work or for those who just want an appetising and flavoursome drink whilst they travel,” continued Mallinson.
The CrossCountry train network connects to major cities across Britain, including Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol, Southampton, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
