FlightPath3D has deployed its Cloud Map platform across Alaska Air Group’s airlines: Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air.
Cloud Map is now live on Alaska Airlines’ mainline aircraft as well as the company’s regional fleet. It enables passengers to experience live flight tracking, travel tips and to discover destinations using their personal electronic devices.
Cloud Map brings the full FlightPath3D suite of maps, destination content and airline-powered marketing to the aircraft via Starlink’s internet link.
It does not require onboard server infrastructure, reducing deployment costs and the required rollout timeline.
Airline operational details, such as arrival gate and terminal, are updated in real time and flow into the map display.
Social-media-style destination reels and live journey narration, curated by FlightPath3D’s Luci Flight Companion, are also available features.
