As part of gateretail’s crew incentive programme, staff from gateretail Hungary and Wizz Air cabin crew recently enjoyed a hands-on training session focused on Prosecco making in the Veneto region of northern Italy.
Crew members spent time at the headquarters of Bottega S.p.A., attended a presentation about the wine and spirit producer and exchanged experiences with the company’s Managing Director, Sandro Bottega.
The itinerary also meant being able to experience the artistry of glass blowing at the factory where Bottega’s bottles are crafted.
Among the highlights, participants also visited Bottega’s Vittorio Veneto vineyards, its liquor factory and tasted Prosecco at various stages of fermentation – enjoying a sensory experience exploring the nuances of the sparkling wine’s taste and aroma.
