Caribbean Airlines has renewed its partnership with Bluebox Aviation Systems to expand deployment of the inflight digital platform’s Blueview wireless inflight entertainment (IFE) solution across its ATR72 turboprop fleet and Boeing 737-NG aircraft.
Passengers will be able to access a suite of Bluebox content, including movies, music, games and its popular Moving Map.
Bluebox was initially deployed on Caribbean Airlines’ Boeing 737 fleet in 2018.
Kevin Clark, CEO of Bluebox Aviation Systems, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Caribbean Airlines back to the Bluebox family. Their decision to expand Blueview across their ATR and Boeing NG is a further testimonial of the quality and flexibility of our solution.
“We’re especially pleased that Caribbean Airlines appreciates our intuitive and passenger-friendly GUI design, enhancing the passenger experience onboard.”
Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines, added: “Having previously experienced Bluebox’s reliability and user-friendly interface on our fleet, we’re happy to bring Blueview to our passengers, and to introduce it to our ATR fleet.
“With the expansion of our network, and the ATR being used on more routes, it was important to introduce reliable IFE. The intuitive design is one of our favourite features, significantly enhancing passenger engagement and satisfaction onboard.”
