Cabin Concept of the Year 2025 winners unveiled

The winners of this year’s Cabin Concept of the Year were revealed at last night’s Onboard Hospitality Awards.

An award ceremony took place at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg.

Three winners were presented with Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies.

Here are the winners in this year’s awards:

Gold

Iberia

The A321XLR marks a transformative step for Iberia, strengthening its long-haul network by enabling transoceanic flights with a narrow-body, single-aisle aircraft for the first time.

Iberia’s cabin concept for the A321XLR integrates sustainability, comfort, technology, and exceptional service, redefining the passenger journey and aligning with its brand values of environmental responsibility and operational excellence.

Silver

GoJet

GoJet Airlines and partner United Airlines were seeking a key differentiator in the regional aviation space. The CRJ-550 answered those goals and lingering pain points for pilots, travellers and companies.

The GoJet Airlines team was tasked with designing an aircraft cabin within the CRJ-700 body that could accommodate all three levels of cabin pricing and utilise the additional space provided by the bigger aircraft to both create a unique passenger experience and ease the burden on small flight crews.

Bronze

Ethiopian Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines has recently taken delivery of a brand-new A350-1000 aircraft, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s fleet modernisation efforts.

Key features of the new A350-1000 include a spacious cabin accommodating up to 395 passengers with a luxurious Business class cabin and a spacious Economy class cabin.
