Newrest is reporting a busy summer ahead with new contracts secured and established clients ramping up their schedules.

In Salt Lake City, USA, new to the mix is Air Canada added as a partner alongside established clients Delta, United, AeroMexico, Eurowings and KLM.

The caterer has been working with Air Canada since 2012 and already supplied inflight meals for the carrier in seven other countries worldwide.

In Germany, EGYPTAIR has begun operating from Frankfurt to Cairo with the Newrest team providing catering services for the daily flights as part of a progressive roll out in Germany.

In Calgary, Canada, Newrest has welcomed Edelweiss business back after a break of almost three years. Edelweiss resumed non-stop flights to Calgary, Alberta in June with two direct weekly flights from Calgary to Zurich, using a 340-3 Airbus.

The Newrest Calgary team is catering a hot dinner service and a breakfast service specially designed with the focus on local  production and sustainable products.

The Swiss leisure airline will operate to Calgary until October. It is also providing the only non-stop connection between the Province of Alberta and Switzerland.

British Airways business has also resumed in Israel after two years. The group is catering flights from Tel Aviv to London.

Finally, Newrest Colombia is supplying Plus Ultra flights from Madrid to Bogota, three times a week with catering for Business, Premium and Economy classes.
