Bottega focused on low- and no-alcohol drinks and on luxury and premium quality wines, ideal for lounges or onboard in First class, at this year’s APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in Long Beach, California.
Based in northern Italy, the Bottega team travelled approximately 10,000 kilometres to present at the event as part of plans to expand in North America and the Asia Pacific.
It showcased Lemon Spritz, in 20cl bottles and 25cl cans, and Bottega 0 White, a non-alcoholic sparkling drink, in 20cl bottles.
“Lemon Spritz is an Italian cocktail premix made with an infusion of lemons from Sicily,” said the group.
“With 30 years of experience in processing lemons, all the fragrance and taste of Femminello Siracusano lemon peels is enclosed in this ready-to-serve spritz. Thanks to the low alcohol content (5.4%), it perfectly meets the needs of the young generation seeking mindful recipes with carefully selected ingredients.
“It has a fresh and juicy taste, and the bubbles come from the sparkling wine – no CO2 is added. The small formats are ideal while onboard and travelling in general.”
Meanwhile, its Bottega 0 White is a non-alcoholic drink made from grape must – crushed grape juice that contains the skins, seeds, and stems of the grapes.
“The main difference from the majority of the products on the market is that it is not a de-alcoholised wine,” said Bottega.
“It shows intense must aromas and sweet, delicate and fresh taste. It is an excellent ingredient for cocktail and mocktail recipes, and perfect for those who look for a non-alcoholic option due to religious, health or other reasons.”
