Bodd’s self-serve 3D scanners deliver data analytics solutions for uniform sizing and wellness insights.
“In today’s challenging economic climate, every decision airlines make needs to deliver both immediate operational efficiency and long-term value. Bodd enables organisations to capture and use accurate body data to cut uniform returns, reduce waste, streamline logistics and save costs across the supply chain, while also unlocking new insights that support workforce wellbeing and readiness for a more productive crew,” said Rob Fisher, CEO and Co-Founder of Bodd.
“As the industry continues to navigate tight margins and rising expectations, we believe solutions like Bodd can help operators do more with less, delivering measurable savings while investing in the people who power the passenger experience. We’re excited to showcase this vision at APEX 2025 and to collaborate with airlines and hospitality leaders who share our belief that putting people first is the foundation of a better onboard experience,” he continued.
Bodd showcased its 3D body scanning technology at the APEX Global EXPO in Long Beach. The non-invasive, self-service system uses advanced robotics to capture over 400 measurements in under one minute, automating what has traditionally been a slow, manual and error-prone process.
The platform can also automate the collection of wellness data, including body composition, posture and range of motion analysis and critical vital indicators. That means corporate wellness teams can identify injury risks, improve readiness and keep crews performing at their best.
Bodd’s technology leverages population insights to inform initial uniform design, optimises logistics and inventory, and helps ensure each individual receives the right size the first time. This reduces costly returns, cuts waste and improves sustainability for organisations operating at scale.
Crew are an airline’s most visible brand ambassadors and the way they look and carry themselves sets the tone for the entire passenger experience.
Bodd ensures uniforms fit with precision and consistency, elevating brand standards while enabling the crew to perform with comfort and confidence.
Fisher explained that the platform streamlines operations and reduces costs, driving long-term value by keeping people safe, supported and performing at their best.
Bodd’s new generation scanner can capture anthropometric measurements and a full spectrum of health and wellness data that lays a basis for a deeper understanding of the human body. The data can help organisations shift from reactive to proactive workforce health management and enable intervention for wellness solutions such as nutrition and wellness programs through to e-scripts and telehealth services.
The company is aiming to build partnerships that help organisations unlock immediate and long-term value from body data.
