American Airlines has enhanced its inflight entertainment (IFE) with a series of new channels and partnerships.
The airline is continuing to update 200 titles monthly, inspired by current entertainment trends, passenger feedback and data analysis.
Channels include Award Nominated with a selection of 2024 winners and nominees; Women’s Stories showcasing female voices ranging from actresses and directors to singers and writers; Paramount Scares for specially curated horror and scary movies; and Centre Stage with in-depth interviews from emerging and established artists.
Young flyers can enjoy baby sensory videos through American’s new partnership with Hey Bear Sensory, while those looking for their health and wellness fix can find meditation, affirmations, seated stretches and self-care content from FitOn.
There are also special offers via the airline’s partners page, such as a free two-month subscription with Apple TV+ for those who want to continue watching Apple Originals at home.
AAdvantage members will soon be able to use miles to pay for Wi-Fi onboard. The new ability to redeem miles will be rolled out in the next few weeks, initially on a couple of select aircraft.
