All Nippon Airways has added single malt Japanese whisky to its pre-order service.
Passengers can choose between three varieties: Surei, Kūsui and Kokiake. They are expected to be released in waves on July 1 2025, September 1 2025 and January 1 2026 consecutively.
The whisky trio will be available via ANA’s international inflight duty-free pre-order service.
Crafted by Akkeshi Distillery, the alcoholic beverages are part of the ‘HOKUSAI NORTH COLORS’ series.
They were designed to represent “Hokkaido’s landscapes (pictured) and seasons through Hokusai’s artistic lens”.
The packaging of each bottle, when placed side by side, forms an image of artist Hokusai’s renowned ukiyo-e print, ‘The Great Wave of Kanagawa’ from the ‘Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji’ series.
Executive Vice President of Customer Experience Tomoji Ishii said: “ANA is greatly honoured to introduce Akkeshi Distillery’s ‘HOKUSAI NORTH COLORS’ series to our international passengers.
