ANA offers pre-ordering for inflight duty-free

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has renewed its pre-ordering service for international inflight duty-free shopping.

Orders on the new pre-order service website will be available for flights departing on or after August 1.

ANA’s new pre-order service website allows customers to browse products from personal electronic devices, regardless of flight reservation status.

To accommodate more customers, ANA has expanded the supported languages to include English, both simplified and traditional Chinese, Italian and Spanish.

To encourage more customers to use the service, ANA will offer discounts of up to 15% on eligible items as part of its Pre-Order Service Renewal Campaign for purchases made until August 16.

It’s possible to place orders between 45 and two days before departures from Japan and three days ahead of flights from elsewhere.

A selection of approximately 300 items is available, including exclusive products not listed in the inflight magazine’s shop.

Payments are taken in advance, via credit or debit card only, at the time of ordering. The transaction is finalised after passengers receive the products.

Keiji Omae, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience at ANA, said: “Driven by our commitment to passenger comfort and convenience, we have revamped our international in-flight duty-free pre-order service.

“By offering a wider selection of exclusive products and an extended pre-order window, we look forward to elevating the inflight shopping experience and unlocking a wider, more seamless journey.”
