No more cabin luggage fees
Ryanair can eat its heart out as Jaktogo, the world’s only manufacturer of ‘wearable luggage’, extends its top selling product range with new dress and poncho designs. All of the company’s products convert easily from a bag to a wearable garment packed with pockets sufficient to hold up to 10kg of clothes and other personal items for business trips or weekends away.
The concept is the brainchild of Irish engineer John Power. He says: “Airlines are finding ever more ingenious ways of charging you extra when you book and when you come to travel. If you want to take anything more than clean underwear, you may face baggage charges of tens of pounds. As a frequent flyer myself, I became increasingly exasperated at the airlines’ tactics and I watched a lot of people miss their flights or hand over their last cash in order to get on the plane home."
The Jaktogo features up to 14 individual storage compartments and is available in a hardwearing, water and wind resistant fabric in black or blue. John adds: “None of our products are designed to be high fashion or to be worn on a night out! Rather, they are a practical travel accessory to enable you to beat check-in queues and avoid the excessive baggage handling charges levied by so-called ‘low cost’ airlines. Most of the time you only have to wear your Jaktogo for five minutes at the check-in and at the gate... and it will pay for itself many times over!” Prices start at around £51.
