Gate Gourmet’s SPICE program was recently rolled out in Division Asia-Pacific/Middle East, hosted by Gate Gourmet Hong Kong. SPICE arrival in the Asia-Pacific region is an important stage of the program’s development considering the wide regional variety of food cultures, the global popularity of Asian food and the region’s growing aviation market. Celebrity Hong Kong chef Hugo Man-To Leung also joined the team to assist with menu development. On the third and final day a selection of customers were invited including in-flight management from Qantas, Cathay Pacific and Air New Zealand.

The HKG roll out was led by Beat Ehlers, Director Product Development and Gottfried Menge, Division Europe’s Development Chef. Chefs and commercial staff from five of the region’s kitchens also attended this event. Home
